The Office Garage

I was shopping for chair mats for carpet down at the hardware store yesterday when I had the inspiration for an office garage. For a while now Ive wanted to turn one of the rooms in my house into my own private office, but we just don’t have the space. My girls need their own rooms and my son just moved back in because he got laid off. So then it hit me, right as I was staring at two brand-new chair floor mats that I could easily turn my garage into an office.

When this house was built the owner was a little quirky and he added all kinds of cool things. There were a couple well-placed solar panels and the garage was even insulated and covered in drywall. The place has an expensive ventilation system as well, so none of the car fumes get trapped inside. I realized that I could easily wall off a section of the garage and turn it into my office as I was standing in line waiting to pay for the chair mats, so right then and there I decided that I was going to put this plan into effect. Now all I have to do is get my wife’s okay.
